      Design engineer

      The factory was producing electric panels & boxes. I was responsible creating designs suitable with the client need & suitable with our manufacturing capability. I used Autodesk Inventor creating the designs, send the designs to the production section & insure its fabrication with the least defects in the acceptance range.

      The factory is engaged in manufacturing all kinds of steel structures. Briefly my role is to distribute the fabrication work and to follow up its implementation, find practical and fast solution to any disrupts and finally participate in the fabrication scheduling. Also worked with the quality control team to assure the dimensions, welding lines, assembly drawings and painting quality.

      This company fabricates& installs (Ducts, piping, steel structure& Insulation) works. I worked on a project (Solvent Recovery Plant) in “6 of October Rotographia”. Briefly my work begins from the contract negotiation with the owner or the main contractor, scheduling the entire project, passing by the drawings & its details, then material calculation, the fabrication process and finally the installation process (man power needed, materials & equipment)till the project finished in summer 2014. From August 2014, I managed to finish two piping projects (around 1000 meters) in Rotographia (6 of October) & EGY Paper MP2 (Belbess Road). Both were Stainless steel piping work for water, solvent & paper’s pulp. Also I finished 3 lines of ducts in Rotographia (around 50 meters 500) in 20 days (negotiation, drawings, material calculation, fabrication, erection & acceptance). Finally I participate in the study phase of a new (Solvent Recovery Plant) near Domodedovo airport, Moscow, Russia. Quotation, prices negotiation, plan for duration, material & men power needed. Plus transportation of the Tanks & Structures that will be fabricated in our factory, from Cairo to Novo port in Russia by trucking and sea freight. Meanwhile we were preparing a new location for the company in Cairo “Gesr el swess” having higher facilities of fabrication.       Obour fabricates all types of sheet metal works from panels to small spare parts where I’m responsible of the production sector. Receiving orders & design then ordering materials required & putting its fabrication plan. Afterwards following all fabrication stages from CNC punching machine (Aries255), Bending machine (Amada HFT 130-3), CO2 Welding machines, Milling & Drilling machines till the finish stage. Programming the CNC machine and preparing the drawings for the bends & welds are also one of my roles. Finally I submit a monthly fabrication report & an evaluation report for technicians. Show less

Same for FAT procedures & detailed design drawing including civil guide drawings.This made me communicate with local and foreign suppliers to get offers, data checking, comparing and select the best technical & commercial offer.Participate in defining Interfaces between equipment and other contractors (Rolling Stock, Civil, Signaling. rails, PS, etc..).Then preparing SAT Procedures, O&M manuals, spare part list, training document to submit to NAT/SYSTRA for approval.Follow up and assist (If needed) the site works during installation/erection phase.
