  Thesis: 'The effects of inducing gamma synchronisation during multi-sensory memory formation' (84%). Under supervision by Dr Simon Hanslmayr, I used 128-channel electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate the neural 'glue' that binds unrelated sounds and visual information together to form and recall complete a multi-sensory memories.

  Most notably, I was lucky enough to win and lead two large projects funded by Innovate UK (UKRI) and the Gambling Commission. Both projects focused on better protecting vulnerable people in financial journeys online by using real-time behavioural and kinetic data, such as typing patterns and mouse movements. Our Proof of Concept was created at a crucial time when the UK faced (and still faces) rising rates of vulnerability - where many still slip through the cracks of appropriate care on websites that have been optimised for the ‘average’ person.
