      Established the Employee Benefit Practice for Palmer & Cay in Florida in 1988. (It was a new start-up with no existing revenue.) Promoted to Senior Vice President and Director of Employee Benefits in 1994. Became Managing Director for the newly formed Palmer & Cay Consulting Group in 1997. Personally recognized as one of the leading producers of new revenue in the company for 9 out of 17 years. Named one of the top five revenue producers within Palmer & Cay 6 out of 17 years. The Florida benefits operation was recognized for superior achievement, i.e. new revenues and profitability, five times. With the close of fiscal year 2000, I was one of only six sales people with a personal book of over $1,000,000 of annual, recurring revenue in the company. Net operating income for our Florida benefits operation in fiscal year ending 2001 established a new, and not since broken, high of 39.77%. Contributed over $4,000,000 of net profit to the company since establishing the benefits practice. Responsible for recruiting many senior management and sales professionals corporately who contributed significantly to Palmer & Cay’s success. Identified and facilitated discussions that lead to several successful benefit and or commercial acquisitions. Acted in a board member capacity with our global consulting practice. Company revenue had increased from $12mil to over $140mil during tenure. Show less

Significant participation in the hiring and training of over 140 new sales associates nationally. One of five corporate leaders to plan, execute a curriculum, and teach what is now known as USI University (All new sales associates attended this forum.) Coordinated seminars, web presentations, marketing drip campaigns which focused on issues related to health care reform and changes to Cobra rules. Grew the Dallas/Ft. Worth Practice in 2009 by a net of 9.5%. Through the first quarter of 2010, net growth was 16% ahead of the same period in 2009. From October 2008 to present, personally hired 18 new sales associates that are averaging over $200,000 of annualized new production and have accounted for 24 new broker of record letters.
