  NorthEast Construction Group became one of the largest rehab companies in the Boston area, with only 3 clients. Harold Brown, Walter Berman, and the Catholic Arch Diocese - the three largest property holders in the Boston area. We did ground floor rehab while moving tenants from one floor to another and then moving them back to a completely redone floor. Projects included 90 through 100 Boylston St. Including the complete restoration of the Colonial Theatre, 15 Court Square, a 14 story 1800's building complete gut and rehab.   I worked for a select few developers and General Contractors who devoted their talents to the rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of existing structures such as old mill buildings, old brewery buildings or old Victorian apartment houses. I also worked for Walgreen's developers who did only Walgreen prototype stores. Each was different, each with it's own challenges. I also worked for large scale residential developers, in one 12 month period starting in November we built 5 35000 sq. ft. stick built apartment buildings including all the infrastructure, a club house, roads, walking paths, garages, and a pool. I spent my last few years with a great firm out of Portsmouth NH. We did some terrific fast tracked jobs. Some historic, some Medical, some "please go fix it"​. Most were real challenges, but I had great support when I needed it and was left alone to do what I do best when I didn't. Thanks John , King, Jim, John P. And Tony S. I worked for some great people, took on some real challenges. The largest being the largest single family house move ever done at 194 tons and 5500 square feet, and delivered on time and usually under budget. My role as an on site manager varied greatly depending on the client. Some wanted a 98% hands off approach and that put me in the role of project manager, site manager, project coordinator etc. Other clients were more adept at the projects they asked me to do, from Medical Centers, Hotels, Big Box, Prototype Retail the work was diverse, challenging, and required me to act as both the job manager and the owners representative.   AS an experiment I designed and built a highly energy efficient house using construction techniques not normally found in New England. I used SIP panels, Spray foam insulation with fire retardent and flame spread coating to name a couple. I did this to see how using traditional New England design with these new products to the area techniques would work in real time here in NH. Not only was this a great learning experience, but the house sold quickly and gave a new plank in the ever growing platform of personal experiences. An interesting point to this experiment, this 2400 sq ft 3 bedroom 2 bath house being all electric with heat and air conditioning has not had an electric bill that exceeds $250.00 since placed in service.   At TLS we work to make the VA Hospitals better. In White River Junction Vermont I am in charge of a new LNG Drop Facility with pipeline and boiler upgrades at the VA. This is first of its kind project so I am responsible for creating a standard of work for all of the future projects of this nature. This is a change that's been a long time coming and will reduce their energy consumption and their carbon footprint. This project was slated to be complete in 12 - 14 months, under my direction it is being completed in 7 months which includes a 20% of total value change order, contract modification. Show less

  My contract at Lonza Biologics came to a close due to Corporate pushing projects back to later dates so I joined ALRIG USA to manage their construction sites in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusets. In this role I will be assisting in the estimating and on site management of retail development projects which ALGIG USA both builds but owns and manages long term. I will be using my home office as the corporate offices for ALRIG USA are in Detroit and my range of travel will be throught northern New England.   This is a different project! We are doing a Historic Restoration of the building's exterior and the comon areas. The First Floor is Retail Stores and there are some commercial tenants on both the first and second floors. The second floor through the 4th floor is mixed use with both commercial tenants and condominiums. The condo's are very high end with beautiful Hickory floors, Granite Countertops, Hi end Kitchens and appliances. This is an adaptive reuse of the existing space whicle maintaining the ambiance of the exposed timbers, brick walls, Loft style Condo's and amazing roof top decks with rought iron railings and views of the city, and the bridges, Show less
