      During my employment at Guitar Center I had received the following awards and recognition; 2009 Outstanding Service Award Recipient, 2009 District 300 (Chicagoland) winner of "Pimp My Warehouse" competition. March 2010 Company Winner in S.A.A.G (Stores at a Glance), where we exceeded in shrink/loss prevention, staying within our allotted budget margin, and inventory accuracy through inventory audits. We also had multiple consecutive monthly district S.A.A.G. wins from 2008 to 2010. I had also received recognition from District, Regional and Corporate leaders for exceeding in warehousing operations.My daily responsibilities included processing all inbound and outbound shipments from UPS, FEDEX, and Guitar Center's Distribution Center. This later included the processing of all drop-shipped or store-to-store transfers for guitarcenter.com order fulfillment.       During my employment at Target's DeKalb Distribution Center, I trained new, and current team members in various operational functions. The training I was responsible for included powered equipment and stationary machinery, and function roles required for the Outboard Department operations. I was recognized by Group and Senior Leaders for exceeding in; teamwork, job knowledge, quality and exceeding daily productivity goals. I was also cross-trained for the Inbound department.Powered equipment training included issuing operator certifications for Crown forklifts, pallet riders, and tuggers. Stationary equipment certifications included the operation of a proprietary sorter system, depalletizer, mezzanine conveyor operations, and proper lock-out tag-out procedures. For function roles, I trained Team Members for specific roles such as the Outbound Closer; who works directly with the shipping yard's transit schedule to ensure that trailers are cut, tagged and safely loaded for departure to stores. The Sorter Operator, who maintains the operation of either the A or B sorter systems for the Outbound Department. This role also included the calculation and reporting of hourly and total shift cartons processed to the Depal Captain and Warehouse Group leaders. The Depal Captain, who manages a Depalletizing team of 2 to 10 team members, in directing them to various work centers in the Depal area to meet daily priority and expected goals.I was selected to aide in the initial roll-out of City Target: Downtown Chicago, where I had worked with Group Leaders in developing procedures to be used in the Outbound Department to ensure freight accuracy for smaller-scale trailer loading was met.I had also participated in the Best Practice DC Assessments for the Outbound Department, and offered suggestions to team members, group leaders, and senior group leaders to help move the team forward in future development while ensuring standards were met in the Outbound Department.       In my role at the Eagle Support Desk, I was responsible for end-user support for Rock Valley College's main campus and satellite locations for the RVC Eagle Online Learning Management System. At the time I had started, Rock Valley College had just began to implement Instructure's Canvas learning platform, using a custom instance designed specifically for Rock Valley College. This role involved working closely with many instructors to aid in the the development of their online curriculum using the RVC Eagle platform, as well as performing migrations of their course content from the previously used L.M.S., ANGEL. More importantly, I worked directly with students and faculty in troubleshooting any issue they encountered while using the software. I reported directly to the Systems Administrator for any high severity incidents.Other responsibilities in this role included conducting user training, beta testing, bug reporting to Instructure and the Systems Administrator for both beta and live environments, and creating documentation for procedures specific to Rock Valley College.
