      My role included running one commercial tennis venue, developing women and girls tennis programs and managing the marketing of the business across 5 locations. - Built a community focused venue that was awarded Most Outstanding Tennis Venue in Australia (out of 4000 venues) within our first two years of a start up- Marketing and communication from company wide strategy development to implementation of campaigns - Increased participation by designing and implementing new award winning programs and events including Women’s Tennis Week, Girls Power Camps, Deaf and Hard of Hearing sessions, Community play for Mental Health and Kinder Tennis - Relationship management with key external stakeholders including Governing bodies, Councils, Charities and Sponsors- Design and development of a website including working with a website developer to optimise the site- Project management of events across multiple venues- Strategic planning, tender applications and transition planning for start up businesses- Led a team of 15-20 full-time, part-time and casual employees- Analysed venue and company performance- Shared industry-leading programs and events with operators in the industry Show less Lead coaching sessions using the Tennis Australia Hotshots program for children aged 3+. Organised, promoted and ran:- - Girls only junior competitions which helped reach a target of a 50:50 split between junior girls and boys members- Girls only tennis camps aimed at keeping girls in the sport and active through a 3 day holiday camp. Engaged with local businesses to support the event and was involved meetings with Tennis Australia who were using the camp as a case study for their initiatives to increase female participation.- Designed and delivered “Women’s Tennis Week” aimed to break down barriers to play for women and girls to get involved in tennis and provide them with a pathway to regular tennis sessions - Introduced a new coaching program “Kinder Tennis” for children aged 3-5 years during the day.       Changing the Narrative in Sport (CTN) was created out of a desire to bring everyone into the conversation to drive positive change in sport. Our mission is to develop inclusive, community-focused initiatives that ensure everyone has the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of sport.In my role, I:- Lead CTN’s strategy and development- Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities for CTN initiatives- Oversee project management for all CTN activities- Collaborate with Sports Management Master’s students to develop an annual sport summit focused on inclusion, covering topics such as Gender Equality in Leadership and the Role of Male Allies, Harnessing the Power of Storytelling for Women's Sports, and Levelling the Field: The Para Sport Narrative.Through our online storytelling campaign #HerStory, we've amplified the voices of over 100 women working in sport across 40+ countries—and we're just getting started!
