  Student Internship

  I learned my community pharmacist skill during this internship. Learn how to manage a community pharmacist, learn about the logistic, management, legal aspect, and how to do a feseability study before we decide to run a pharmacy in a specific place (in this part of internship we have to negotiate, evaluate, calculate, and design a pharmacy we want to open in a real life situation). As well as the management skill in this internship the pharmaceutical care aspect was also well given. I have done a project to monitor 2 osteoporosis patients, design brochure, leaflet and give a short presentation about the cases, the pathophysiology and the management of osteoporosis. Beside that two aspect we also done a seminar for patients and public about diabetes mellitus and on that seminar I was given the opportunity to be the speaker. Show less

  Student Internship

  I've done my 'Apoteker' or Pharmacist Professional Course Internship in this hospital for two month. I have got many experiences and learned many new things in this hospital : pharmacy logistic, drug production in the hospital, hospital management, waste handling, pharmaceutical care, drug compounding, dispensing and out-patients counseling, drug related problem, drug interaction, drug use evaluation on restricted antibiotics. I also got the chance to give educations to patients, pharmacist assistant and give a presentation on the hospital pharmacist continuous professional development. In this hospital I also got the chance to know more about automatic dispensing machine, what is the advantage and how to calculate the workload in pharmacy. I also did the survey to know the physicians opinion about e-prescribing. Show less

  Student Internship

  I did internship as a clinical pharmacist, I was placed in the 'heart disease ward', 'lung disease wards', and 'internal disease ward' to perform a pharmaceutical care practices to the patients. The pharmaceutical practices including drug interaction monitoring, adverse drug reactions monitoring, and drug effectivity monitoring to prevent drug related problems and to give a recommendations to the physicians if there were drug related problems found. In this hospital the physician is very actively asking about drug and I was given the experince how to do bed side monitoring with both physicians and nurses. So, the inter healthcare professional communication skill was well given in this internship. Show less

  I've done my internship as a clinical pharmacist for one month. I did drug related problem evaluation, reconsiliation for new in-patients, drug dispensing and counseling, DUE on rstricted antibiotic (retrospectively) and antibiotic prophylaxis for caesar surgery, doctor prescription evaluation, passive and active drug information, and the evaluation for new drug to enter the formularium.
