  My family and I spent 12 years as missionaries to Costa Rica. We worked with Latin America Mission the first seven years, and then served for the last five with TMCI. We worked in the slum of Tejarcillos, developing leaders and ministering to youth, children, and families. At the end of 2012, we turned the entire ministry over to local leaders.During our time in Costa Rica, we also worked with prostitutes and drug addicts, helping them to get off the streets and make a new start.
