The Lee Hsien Loong Interactive Digital Media Smart Nation Award is presented to polytechnic students that have contributed projects towards Singapore's Smart Nation vision.The team comprising team leader, Terrence Goh (Dip MMA), Jasper Yap (Dip AT), Rachel Cheong (Dip IBZ) and Lynnette Teo (Dip ECH) developed a mobile app called KinderSIGN with the aim of helping the hearing impaired community. KinderSIGN is an assistive technology solution that teaches sign language to children and beginner sign language users. It comprises an interactive mobile application which uses Augmented Reality and various sets of physical flashcards with images of objects. KinderSign aims to create a more inclusive society by breaking down the parent-child communication barriers and provide a means for the public to learn sign language. Show less

There will be three types of challenges: goal setting by peer or family, group fitness gaming challenge where winner takes all and social dare where individuals dare their friends and family to complete challenges that they had just achieved. A chat bot will accompany the solution in between activities.
