      Provide proactive, innovative, and business focused HR solutions within assigned client groups; coach/facilitate internal decisions to ensure successful results within HR policies/processes, collective agreements and applicable legislation.Perform a broad range of HR disciplines including:(1) Labour Relations Work with client groups, union representatives and employees to identify early resolution opportunities, promote/maintaine positive union/employee relations to mediate conflict. Proactively assist with collective agreement interpretation, legislation and policy interpretation. Recommendations for collective bargaining, grievance, mediation, arbitration preparation and resolution. Conduct fact finding investigations, provide employee/labour relations guidance to address performance issues using dispute resolution strategies. Conduct workplace investigations, prepare summary reports/recommendations in accordance with applicable legislation/policies.(2) Strategic PartneringInput on HR initiatives, from the perspective of client groups. Identify/implement training programs; change management expertise, process and/or continuous improvement assistance; support early/safe return to work and accommodation programs; develop position descriptions; support job evaluation system and participate on corporate committees. (3) Talent AcquisitionLead clients through full cycle recruitment processes for management positions. Provide recommendations in design, implementation and coordination of recruitments. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and collective agreements. Implement attraction strategies to meet corporate hiring objectives. Partner with hiring managers to identify and analyze business/human capital needs and role requirements. Assist in developing strategic (3-5 years) and operational (12-18 months) workforce planning. Uphold integrity of recruitments, ensure a bias-free selection process in accordance with Corporate and legislative standards. Show less
