  As VPSA/DOS for our NY/LA campuses, I provide strategic leadership and direction for our student affairs teams. As VP/DOS, I collaborate closely with faculty, administration, student leaders and organizations to promote engagement, wellness, academic and interpersonal success, focused on the holistic development of students with a critical eye toward ensuring persistence to graduation. Core Focuses: 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive student affairs strategy that aligns with AMDA’s mission and goals. Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and equity within the student body and staff.2. Student Engagement: Oversee programs and initiatives that enhance student involvement, leadership development, and community building. Encourage student participation in campus life and student leadership opportunities. 3. Support Services: Ensure accessibility to effective support services, including: mental health counseling, physical performance health, athletic training, student advising, and more 4. Collaboration and Partnerships: Work collaboratively with academic, financial and adjacent departments to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development. Build partnerships and foster relationships with external organizations, alumni, and industry professionals to create opportunities for students.5. Crisis Management: Lead the Emergency Response Team to student crises, ensuring effective communication and support for campus community. Develop, implement and continuously update policies and procedures promoting student safety and well-being.6. Assessment and Evaluation: Establish metrics to assess the efficacy of initiatives, programs and services. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making to continuously improve overall student experiences.7.
