      I undertook analysis and research on issues, legislation and government policies that may have impacted the organisation or its tenants. I wrote and reviewed policies for all areas of the business, helping to shape the strategic direction of the business and ensuring all policies were reviewed in date and the schedule of review kept up to date. As part of policy review I ensured all policies covered the necessary risk and controls and linked this to the Pentana risk management system. I worked on the business continuity planning procedures, which was one of my annual projects and I was also responsible for ensuring it was kept up to date. I provided support and co-ordinated liaison for the CASE Group, collating data for a group of ten housing associations including Paradigm. I analysed and reported on the data and I worked on projects, ensuring they were delivered on time. I created and provided the directors with profiles of stock owned for local authority liaison meetings.I prepared bi weekly reports for the Executive Team updating them of any changes to legislation, sector news and identified research impacts or policy changes. I undertook research and analysed projects which helped the organisation make strategic decisions, for example using customer data to inform the approach on affordability and fuel poverty. Show less This role involves co-ordinating the work of technicians to ensure works to properties are completed in a timely and efficient manner. It includes the allocation of work to technicians and sub-contractors and the ordering of parts and materials as appropriate. I provide effective administrative support to a team of technicians, ensuring jobs are properly logged and actioned. I liaise with colleagues in Paradigm as appropriate to ensure I am delivering a good customer service. I liaise with tenants in relation to outstanding works, dealing efficiently with any complaints they may have.During my time in this role I have learnt a lot about the strong need for effective asset management and the need to be fully compliant. Show less This role requires me to enter invoices, credit notes or delivery notes onto the computer system and to match them to purchase orders. It includes checking the invoices to ensure their accuracy, assigning the correct account codes and ensuring that invoices are authorised in line with financial policies and procedures. I am required to liaise with the management accountants and other colleagues to ensure that queries are dealt with efficiently and suppliers paid in a timely manner.
