I provided informative tours to community, school and private interest groups. I developed and implemented two community outreach special events. Participated in the day to day operation and promotion of the museum, including program set-up and clean-up.

      I developed, managed, and implemented ten days of orientation, out-reach and transition programming for a diverse group of 300 incoming students (Orientation Week 2006 and 2007), trained and supervised 100 volunteer Orientation Leaders, managed a $40 000 budget, and wrote detailed reports on the planning, execution, and experience of Orientation Week.

I coordinated with York Federation of Students and the Centre for Human Rights to develop and implement the first “Anti-Oppression: Intro to Social Justice” diversity training for student leaders. I developed and presented interactive training workshops, round-table and panel discussions, providing necessary training and resources for 50 History TAs. I worked with TA Mentors from other departments to develop and execute a university-wide day long training session for all TAs. I assisted with the teaching duties of HIST 3019 Social History of Alcohol and HIST 2309 History of Modern Latin America, including grading and evaluating student work, leading workshops, and providing one-on-one learning assistance. I also developed and delivered a lecture for HIST 2309A titled, "1968 Student Movement in Mexico City: Movement, Massacre and Memory."
