  Activities and Societies: National Society of Leadership and Success- NSLS Graduated from the University of Michigan- Flint with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a concentration in Pre-Med. I also finished with two minors: one in chemistry and the other in Spanish. Some of the courses that I took at this time were Microbiology, Mammalian Physiology, and Biochemistry. During my education, I also did a summer abroad in Spain where I was able to gain some university credit.

  Credit Spanish Language and Literature 4.0/4.0 scale

  A study abroad term where I was able to achieve credits towards my Spanish minor. During this study abroad I was able to travel around Spain and learn about the different cultures, as well as practice using the language. I was mainly located in Salamanca where I took classes like Spanish Language and Culture.

My courses consist of subjects like Global Health, Contagion, Health and Migration, etc. During this time, I am working on my dissertation which is a placement with the organization Population Matters. The topic I am researching is about the risk that zoonotic diseases pose on rising human and domesticated animal populations where I am researching the expansion of urbanization and affluence impact on wildlife niches, resulting in increased interactions between wildlife, domesticated animals, and humans.
