  Worked on multiple collaborative projects which resulted in high impact peer-reviewed journals such as Advanced Materials and ACS Applied Materials and Interface. Projects undertaken: 1. Micro-emulsion mediated synthesis of PpIX-based polysilsesquioxanes and their in vitro studies to investigate the phototherapeutics against multiple cancer cell lines. 2. Assessment of stimuli-responsive PSilQ nanoparticles as delivery vehicle for chemotherapeutic agent and/or siRNA therapeutics - Combinational therapy and PSilQ nanoparticles for PDT applicability.3. Multimodal inorganic nanoparticles for theranostics - Mesoporous silica nanoparticles as non-viral vector for RNAi therapeutics, with simultaneous delivery of anticancer drug for synergistic therapy. 4. In vitro investigation of RNA nanoconstructs, and their therapeutic variance using MSNs as carrier. 5. Investigation of aggregation behaviour of cationic porphyrins, and their implications on the in vitro performance. Show less
