  Starting the work of a swim instructor at the age 16 instilled skills I use to this day. The Marinwood swim program is one of the most successful in the area due to the consistency and devotion in their staff. Private swim lessons were usually booked weeks in advance. Each week, I worked 30+ hours per week to swim lessons and teach necessary skills to the standard of the program. I learned to balance and address the needs of each parent as well as attend to each kid’s individual needs.   Within my four years at the WAC, I was able to grow within the aquatics program. In October 2020, I successfully reinstated multiple swim programs including private and group lessons. I created and ran the WAC Jr. Swim Program that is still running today. I coordinated and booked clients schedules and availability for group swim lessons and private lessons. I had to navigate ways to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the programs throughout each stage of COVID, while also focusing and training the staff to a high standard for the program.   Volunteer Jumpstart Corps Member

  As a Jumpstart Corps member, my goal was to aid teachers with preschool classroom curriculum in underfunded schools. I trained and worked directly with staff members for over twelve hours per week for session plans, service opportunities, and individualized learning plans to prepare kids for a successful future in their education. My position ended several months early due to COVID 19 pandemic.

  In the Volunteer Department at Make-A-Wish AKWA, I assisted my supervisors in the management and on boarding processes of over 550 volunteers. This includes the management of the Ribbons and Bows giving program, processing volunteer applications and volunteer queries in a MS SQL database, managing and operating the volunteer birthday recognition program, and the overall aid to engage and implement volunteer programs.

  NALCAP is an educational outreach program that encourages native English speakers to develop and diversify language programs throughout Spain.
