  1st Class Port Planning Engineer

  Some projects where I have been involved as a port planning engineer:- Odessa Container TerminalI designed the general layout for this container terminal. I became involved in this project on the design stage. The design contemplated the reclamation of about 20 hectares sea territory. The project was planned to be developed in two phases, currently the first phase is being completed. This is one of the biggest projects within Ukraine for last years.- Container Terminal in Port of IlyichevskThis project included three phases and I became involved on the design stage.I performed many variations of the general layout with my superior until an optimal solution was achieved and agreed with the Client, after which, all the pertinent drawings for each stage of the project were made, starting from the ones for the feasibility study and finishing with the ones for the detail engineering. Up to now was built and put into operation only phase one in 2010.- Bulk Terminal in Port of YuzhnyIn this project I was involved right from the beginning. For the feasibility study I analyzed the possible layouts of the terminal and the technologies for coal and ore cargo handling. Following an agreement on the feasibility study from the client I started to work on the basic engineering where my superior and I were responsible for the civil and network engineering design and layout of the terminal, the responsibility for the cargo handling technology was delegated to a German company. The project passed the governmental expertise and now the detail engineering is being finished. While working on the “detail engineering” I received a work proposition from the client which I accepted.- Grain Terminal in Port of NikolaevIn this project I worked in the feasibility study. I prepared and analyzed different general layouts for the grain, coal and vegetable oil terminals in the port territory and also the possible areas of reclamation of sea territory. Show less
