  A truly valuable and exciting sabbatical year working as Education Officer for RUSU. I co-led the strategic direction of the organisation alongside my fellow officers. As a trustee and director of the charity, I was responsible for ensuring that RUSU was solvent, well-run and delivering the charitable outcomes for the benefit of all students. I worked closely with the University to implement the new academic tutor system, as well as running campaigns on the BME attainment gap and encouraging students to revise.
