  As Incident Manager, I provide timely and efficient support on major or critical IT incidents within Arla’s business. Due to our highly perishable FMCG products we are anxious to reduce irregularities and breakdown IT incidents that could affect the freshness of our dairy products. I supervise that our vendors and suppliers act according to the SLA in order to prevent incidents to occur. I coordinate the incidents and make sure the business is informed of which precautions and procedures to follow to minimise the inconvenience. In addition, I am also responsible for proper documentation of every major incident for knowledge-sharing purposes. As time is the overriding factor when solving IT incidents in Arla Foods, I have a key role solving emergency problems as promptly as possible and in this way deliver fast, efficient and long-lasting solutions. Through my work as incident manager I have come to know the Arla business and acquired a deep knowledge about the complex world that is Arla IT. Responsibilities • Problem management: Contact person for problem management, continues improvement of documentations used to handover from major incidents. • SIM: Represent Situation management in the SIM process • IT security: Build communication plan and process for major security incidents • Change/Release management: Continues improvement of the emergency change process, and other interface involving change and release management.
