  I transferred internally to join the GMP team in Dubai, UAE, where I played a pivotal role in establishing the project delivery function in Egypt, a pioneering initiative for the business in the country. I assembled and led a project team comprising Egyptian Nationals who were new to the organisation, ensuring they received the necessary support for the timely completion of design activities within a 5-month timeframe. Notably, I spearheaded the project management of the $multi-million Smart City project in Cairo, Egypt, overseeing a 13-month programme that involved managing customer approvals on materials, implementing proof of concept, and overseeing system/software implementation.In this capacity, I delivered comprehensive security solutions, including the establishment of a Command & Control Centre and the installation of 6k cameras to monitor city-wide activity and its operating platform.
