  • Diagnosed Laptops and depending on power on/off and if I could reach the BIOS. If no power was present, I went through a series of steps to determine the problem. For example, simply checking to make sure the motherboard was plugged in properly via PSU was a common issue. Checking RAM, cycling power, and making sure CPU’s were present.• Maintaining wait times while using Astea for ticketing services to ensure customers are taken care of in a timely manner.• Communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer about important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion• Repaired laptops and PC's depending on whether or not their resale value was of worth to the company. Repairs varied from simply replacing the CPU with another CPU of the same generation so it matched the MOBO requirements. Reseating ram or replacing ram was also frequent to solve most problems. More complicated repairs were laptop oriented due to the nature of the size. Some repairs required replacing the PCB board with a new, at other times screen replacements were required. Most if not all repairs were hardware oriented.• Replaced hardware in defective units and Upgrading essential components in desktops and laptops like Motherboard, Graphics card, CPU, PSU, Ram and SSD. Assembly of custom build desktop computer with parts they have chosen from our store.• Setting up hardware and software RAID per customer request.• Performing Data Backups and migration on failing HDD or damaged computers • Performing removal of virus’s, malware and reinstalling of Operating System for different platform (Windows, Mac OSX and Linux).
