Show less During my 3-year tenure as a Stress Analysis Engineer for large steam turbines and its components, I gained extensive experience in various analysis tools, material strength, design, BOM, and MM. One of the most enriching experiences was being a part of the team responsible for the assembly of turbines.I was able to observe the blue matching process, which involves matching the rotor and stator blades to ensure optimal performance, and also the installment of stator blades, ensuring their correct placement to achieve the desired output.       Within a period of 12 months, I led a team to scale up the retail business from 4 to 55 stores. This involved creating an end-to-end process that encompassed all aspects of retail store development, starting from the acquisition of properties to the handover of operations. In doing so, I was able to coordinate and streamline the efforts of various stakeholders involved in the process, such as property acquisition teams, leasing teams, design teams, execution teams, procurement teams, hiring teams, legal and licensing teams.One of the key challenges during this process was ensuring that there was seamless communication and coordination between all stakeholders. To achieve this, I created a streamlined information flow system and ensured that there was clear and effective communication among all parties involved. This helped to ensure that the entire process was executed in a smooth and efficient manner.Currently, I am focused on optimising the retail operations and enhancing visibility using tools like Kanban and 5 Whys. These tools are useful for conducting root cause analysis and identifying areas that require improvement. Going forward, I plan to leverage Lean tools to further streamline the process and eliminate any redundancies. This will help to ensure that the retail operations are even more efficient, cost-effective, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of customers. Show less
