  Outdoor Instructor for school groups and holiday programmes. Lead Instructor on week long holiday camps including ski and outdoor adventure trips. Diverse groups ranged from 8-17 year olds. Friday Club is a recreation club for adults with disabilities. This social get-together for intellectually and physically disabled adults runs every week during the school term, with all kinds of activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, bowling, movies and indoor climbing. We also go on field trips to various venues around the city.

Through national and international instructing programmes, countless books, and chats over beers we have developed a series of mountain bike skills courses to enable you to enjoy the ride just as much as we do. We call it JoyRide. Professional, rider focused and a hell of a lot of fun.The journey of discovery continues…just as we are encouraging you to learn more, we are pushing our own boundaries. Ash has spent the last 3 years with Skills Active and NZOIA developing the NZ Mountain Bike Instructor Qualifications. This National Qualification is now available and Joyride provides instructor training as well as assessment for the qualification.
