  A voluntary run, not for profit organisation, that can trace its roots back to August 1997, and has been proactive in the development of girls and ladies football throughout those years. Tameside United GFC are proud of their ethos which is that Every Child Matters, and all are welcome to the club regardless of ability or previous experience. All that we ask is that each child, and their parents or supporting adults, follow our RESPECT Codes of Conduct. The club also has strong links with Hyde United Football Club and the academy system based there, and indeed Ewen Fields is the home ground of sister club Tameside United Ladies Football Club. Girls from the age of six upwards are most welcome, and Tameside United always on the look out for new coaches and volunteers to join the club.Tameside United Girls Football Club is a Charter Standard Club, registered with Manchester Football Association.
