Variety of duties including facilitation of Mayor and Council requests, interfacing with 26 internal departments, handling special projects, and monitoring legislative priorities. Analysis of all environmental permits and regulations affecting City operations with a specialty in stormwater management and watershed protection. City's legislative liaison during the 85th Texas Legislative Session. Environmental Inspector with the City of Waco Stormwater Management Program operating the city municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) TPDES permit. Tasks include: industrial and construction site inspections, illicit discharge detection and elimination, stormwater sampling, municipal pollution prevention and good housekeeping, and public education/outreach. Environmental Inspector with the City of Waco's Water Utilities laboratory analyzing drinking water and waste water samples and cross training with the Storm Water management program.
