  *Managed the SSL Certificate infrastructure for the Warner Bros. Discovery Corporate business unit. Provided application owners with technical assistance to create certificate requests for their operating system and web server platforms. Wrote a python system to retrieve certificate expiration information from the certificate authority via APIs. The data was uploaded to a SharePoint site and potential expirations were monitored by the Operations team to prevent system outages.*Built the IT infrastructure to support Building Management, Physical Security, Audio/Visual, and Cybersecurity applications for a new company headquarters location in New York City. The project was particularly challenging because security requirements mandated that users be segregated by business unit. Another challenge was that the contractors that managed the applications were required to pass several layers of security to remotely access their systems.*Led and completed projects to mitigate security vulnerabilities including Log4j and SNMP. Researched solutions and ran scanning tools or created scripts to confirm that the vulnerabilities were addressed.*Provided our clients with strategies to upgrade obsolete operating systems to supported versions. Assisted clients with in-place operating system upgrades if their outdated application software was not compatible with the newer operating systems. *Provided technical expertise to our users to update their applications to be compatible with a new Active Directory (AD) instance after an Active Directory consolidation. Worked with the network team to resolve any network issues associated with connecting applications to the new AD.*Selected by IT Service Management leadership to evaluate potential operational impacts to users and systems as a result of scheduled IT infrastructure changes. *Selected by the Major Incidents team to review critical IT incidents and help identify the root causes of system outages. Show less *Managed the on-premise IT infrastructure and infrastructure services in New York and London for the Warner Bros. Discovery Corporate business unit. The services included compute, storage, email, email security, active directory, server load balancing, and Citrix application hosting. Worked closely with my counterparts at the other business units to complete a multi-year effort to consolidate and centralize the infrastructure and infrastructure services for the enterprise. *Virtualized and migrated the server inventory and storage from a New York datacenter to shared datacenters located in North Carolina and Las Vegas. Show less *Developed an enterprise-wide phone directory system that was used by 80,000 users throughout the enterprise for employee contact information. The system was written in Java using an Apache Tomcat web server running under Solaris and employee data from a Solaris LDAP server. *Designed and built the IT infrastructure for the HR and Benefits departments. Led the team that created the server farm, the Citrix application environment, and the Active Directory used by the business area. These on-premise systems replaced hosted and expensive computing resources whose costs were being charged back to the HR and Benefits departments. Show less
