    • Stabilus

      Sept 2016 - Dec 2016
      Quality Assurance Intern

While working at Stabilus, I learned about the design and manufacturing processes of hydro-pneumatic springs, and their many applications throughout the community; these springs are found in many locations including cars, construction equipment, hospital beds, and household drawers to name a few. I built a demonstration-cube to highlight the adaptability of these springs and how they can be used in numerous ways. This cube was then brought to trade shows to influence buyers to purchase the product. Finally, I helped analyze and improve company PowerPoints by updating information and creating a more reader-friendly layout. Show less

    • Consortium for Nonproliferation Enabling Capabilities (CNEC)

      Jun 2018 - Jun 2019
      Undergraduate Researcher

The research of my mentor deals with a FORTRAN program called THOR, which is a neutral particle transport code that enables simulation of complex geometries for various nuclear engineering problems such as nuclear reactor simulations to nonproliferation techniques. My goal is to help my mentor with his research by writing code that enables the transfer codes and geometrical shapes from one program to another. I also read nuclear engineering publications to increase my exposure to applied mathematics, and ultimately use this information to help me write code. Show less
