  [the power of 1/1,000 of a second]'Conatus'. This is a philosophical idea developed by Spinoza. Abridging a complex chain of other concepts, conatus is like our vital force. According to my former psychologist: 'is what makes your heart beat faster'. My own idea of conatus is deeply connected with photography. With a camera in my hands, I discovered what seems obvious: life is composed of infinite possibilities called '1/1,000 of a second'. Moments. Feelings. Images. Stories. Details. And with a camera in my hands, I also discovered the power of that 1/1,000 of a second. Mostly, the power of fully being present at every 1/1,000 of a second. Also, I believe that the best things in life aren't things. As a runner and as someone who tries to keep it simple, I'm committed to the idea that by revealing the untold stories hidden in the details of the running environment quotidian I'm contributing to build community and to bring inclusion / visibility to the sport.
