I worked with RACPC (Housing Loan Cell) during my short stint of 10 months at Noida. RACPC works along the lines of Ford's model of moving assembly line. After working at almost all the departments of RACPC, my services were utilised at the infamous position of Cordination Desk. My role was to assess and establish a cordial relationship with clear communication between the clients, the employees and the vendors enabling the branch to deliever maximum conversion of Housing Loan applications into a long term relationship with the Bank. In terms of number that means successfully handling more than 300 physical and digital communications everyday from all stakeholders. And In terms of tangible outcome, this whole effort turned out to be directly contributing to yearly disbursement of more than INR 900 Crore. Also doing the same for Education Loans too, helping thousands of students to study in India and Abroad. Show less Expanding the Branch credit portfolio by INR 12 Cr across SME and all segments of Personal Loans in a rural area.Managing Credit portfolio of INR 48 Cr. Reducing and controlling of NPA and profitable booking of recovery in written off accounts by judicial follow up with ghost debtors. Providing high quality customer service and speedy disbursement of loan with due diligence. Maintaining mutually beneficial relationship with Corporate and High Net Worth customers by providing top of the class service in rural area.Accepting the mistakes and learning from the slippages both in customer relationship and loan portfolio.Recognised as one of the Best Branch of the Delhi Circle by Chief General Manager of the Delhi Circle Show less After getting confirmed as a Deputy Manager there I shifted my focus from learning to augmenting the branch service quality directly and helping to train the newly joined associates. I started supporting the credit and operations of the Branch as a part of the Branch till my permanent assignments. As the COVID-19 wave came, the new role was to adapt to the self preservation so that you can serve the financial needs of the existing community members and the wave of returning community members during the pandemic. Show less After 1 year at Agra and Hathras, Bank finally listened to me and accepted my request of exposing myself to the unknown territories of Uttrakhand and LOHAGHAT it was. Lohaghat was 430 KMs away from the comforts of my home. If hathras was one of my toughest and challenging assignments then LOHAGHAT was the definition of toughest yet the most beautiful experience. I finally understood what SBI is and what it stands for. I got myself immersed in the concept of community banking and how SBI is working as a community bank at these remote areas. The term customer or client got evolved into community members. I took a 2 km walk everyday from my abode to the branch and greeted (as I was greeted to) everyone every day with my beloved uttrakhandi phrase, "Aur Da, Theek Hairon". I will express that experience in one liner, "Learned How to be a Banker to Every India" Show less I had one of the most toughest assignments ever at the Asafoetida centre of Western UP. The branch was fearful and the leadership was dreaded in the small circle of bankers there. But I went on to love it there for what I can always recall. It was painful but I learned to be at one of the best and disciplined behaviours always. By the end of the three months training there, the leadership was not dreaded but respected and branch turned to be not fearful but one of the best challenges I ever had in my probation. There was no tangible outcome in numbers during those three months, as it was very short a time. Though, it turned out to be a time which I will always look back to remind myself, "How determined, disciplined, composed and servicing I can be if put under a challenging environment". Show less
