  Led the team working in wireless and telecom domain GSM/(E)GPRS/Transmission) products for client Nokia Siemens Networks on the projects which got deployed in the field with telecom operators such as AT&T USA, Wataniya Network Kuwait, Vodafone India, Aircel India, T-mobile USA, C Cell South Africa Cosmote Greece Mobilkom, and Idea cellular and are running successfully.Worked for Multi Controller software project for Nokia Siemens Networks, where a hardware Octeon (CN5650) based Multi Core processor was introduced for EGPRS data transfer. This card can be used either for switching or for packet data transfer for GSM/EGPRS network. Worked for Packet control unit software, PCU is mounted on BSC in NSN BSS that interfaces with BTS, BSC and SGSN and handles all data traffic (GPRS/ EGPRS) between BTS and SGSN. Features in the PCU enables it to provide resource allocation to the mobile, increased coverage area, "simultaneous" PS and CS end user experience, Multipoint GB, PCU2 Pooling. PCU2 configures GB interface for transmission/reception of data over IP/FR towards SGSN. For all above Nokia projects, played key responsibility during project milestone achievement by being at client site (Nokia Siemens Networks, Finland). Technical discussion with senior managers and portfolio head of NSN for clarification and negotiation on any open issues for milestone closure.Worked in VoIP domain for Soft switch product which is a central device in a telecommunications network which connects telephone calls from one phone line to another, across a telecommunication network or the public Internet, entirely by means of software running on a general-purpose system. For VoIP project, responsible for helping the test team, managing software lab and worked as individual contributor.Responsible as point of contact during ISO Audit and SQA Audit team. Also Leading entire system test team at India Engineering R&D center located at Gurgaon.Also leading Test CoE and continuous improvement initiative for India engineering which has strong focus on agile software development process and associated metrics.Designed and built high quality standard software R&D labs with hardware devices and field controllers connected through ZigBee and Ethernet at Gurgaon design center for BAS and Security Program. These teams are working on Metasys® which is the world's leading building automation system. Metasys® connects with HVAC, lighting, security, protection and time attendance recording systems, and gets them all “talking” to each other in a single language, on a single platform to give information to make better decisions, save money and improve the way building functions.Another program where I setup the team by hiring testers and developers, built software lab is Security program. Security program's software engineering team in India is working on P2000 Security Management system. P2000 enables to integrate with multiple systems and devices such as access control, fire control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, elevators, enterprise IT and smart building management system.
