I myself was rather taken by creating typefaces and the creation of books and websites.Second Year was set up to give us briefs as if we were in industry, and to let us all go in our own directions, whilst also starting to think about how we want to present ourselves to people via portfolios, sites such as LinkedIn, and going networking. Unfortunately an event happened outside of my control which meant I had to transfer course. Although Now I am finishing it off as of the year 2020/21 Show less

    • Cambridge Science Centre

      Oct 2021 - Dec 2022
      Graphic Designer

From starting this role under the government's Kickstart scheme to becoming the charities inhouse Graphic Designer. I hit the ground running with my position at the Cambridge Science Centre, by taking a look at what they had created, and where it could possibly go to become an evolution of its then state. Something with which I have managed to achieve!I started by looking at all their products and branding, and collating and forward thinking them into a Brand Guideline, something with which they were lacking. From this, I then progress through their current design assets and make sure they are available in all formats to which are useful for different platforms. Whilst at the science centre I continued on from this by designing a variety of exhibits, advertisements, social media content, magazines, books, flyer, banners, table cloths and more. When it came to jobs away from my focus of graphic design, I supported the team with decisions for products being created and how best to approach things using a UX approach.
