As a Principal Healthcare Analyst with the BCBS Population Health Analytics team, I am responsible for supporting the strategic needs of the company through cross-department collaboration, team leadership, and application of advanced analytics to diverse business questions and initiatives. I support team expertise through peer mentorship, intern mentorship and generally supporting my growth and the growth of those around me through ongoing education in best practices and new practices applicable to our work. When peers need support or have questions I am happy to share the knowledge I have and help research the best approach to any given question.Always thinking a step ahead, I enjoy leading teams from a strategic vantage point developing long-term sustainable data, analysis and evaluation plans to support enterprise needs now and in the future as I did with the development of the data and analytics plan for Covid-19 vaccine outreach.Key projects I've led in this roll include: constructing the BCBS SDoH Hub; offering ongoing SDoH training for the enterprise to lean in and collectively learn how to effectively use SDoH data; guiding our cross-department team to support data and analytics for Covid-19 and DHS childhood vaccine outreach; development and implementation of the population health evaluation framework; development and execution of the Covid-19 disease outreach prioritization score for use in case management and disease management outreach. Collectively these projects demonstrate my ability to guide cross-functional teams and to initiate, plan, and lead analysis from conceptual development to conclusion. They also demonstrate my leadership ability with coworkers, internal business partners, and upper leadership as well as my ongoing support of team member's growth so they consistently meet their maximum potential.
