  I followed the academic curriculum designed by the school for US History 1 and 2. Worked in building student literacy and getting students acclimated in to utilizing 21st century skills but incorporating multimedia within the classroom. At St. Joseph, I also served as the assistant coach for our Swimming and Tennis teams.

  As an educator at Benedictine Academy I have assisted in building the History Curriculum to meet and exceed NJ State Standards. Working along side support staff from Union County, I have developed lesson plan modifications for students who possess either an IEP and a 504 plan. Additionally, I enrolled BA into the Gilder Lehrman affiliate school program allowing our school to have access in scores of primary source documents related to US History. I also served our school on gaining our re-accreditation to the Middle States in which we were re-accredited in 2013. At Benedictine Academy I started a swim club for students to work out and build toward becoming a High School Varsity Program. I also established our school's first Model UN club competing in the St. Peter's University High School Model UN. I took over student council 2 years ago and since then have built the organization in truly serving the student body in ways such as fundraising, school events, social events and social activism. We have even worked along side the parents organization to aid in events in which they sponsored. Show less
