  Worked with Siemens and Penn State (IE 480W) in a Capstone project to automatize data collection.Developed a hardware and software system to actively monitor machine usage in a Manufacturing lab. Programmed a Raspberry Pi to analyze data from different current and motion sensors to collect data of the machines to export into Siemens cloud platform MindSphere. Engaged with a diverse team of 5 engineers to solve logistic and operational problems.

  Worked with Corning Inc. and Penn State (IE 436) in a project to optimize a facility layout to improve material flow and throughput. Simulated a manufacturing facility, using Simio software, by changing machines and space layout for the facility to improve Material Flow, Manufacturing Cycle Times and safety of Operators.Implemented Lean and Six Sigma tools such as DMAIC, 5 S methodology, and Kaizen.
