  USF's Department of Emergency Management takes an all-hazards approach when preparing the University. The department works with various entities across the Tampa campus to create plans, conduct training and exercises, and participate in outreach activities to aid in improving the safety of all students, faculty, and staff.During my time with USF's Department of Emergency Management, I:• Manage document preparation for an Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) assessment• Co-authored the USF COVID-19 Reopening plan presented to the State University System's Board of Governors on June 23, 2020• Co-author the USF Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and USF Tampa Multi-Year Training and Exercise Plan (MYTEP)• Revise USF Tampa-specific and University-wide emergency plans• Utilize Veoci for virtual incident management and day-to-day operations• Serve as Documentation Unit Leader during emergency activations• Create and conduct exercises for various university departments• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the USF Tampa Department of Emergency Management and USF Emergency Management program• Manage data related to personnel, outreach events, training, and exercises to visualize department reach, growth, and university needs• Conduct data collection and analysis using Qualtrics Surveys• Represent the department at outreach initiatives to assist in greater preparedness for the university community Show less
