  I was promoted to this regional position (covering Denmark and Iceland) where I was responsible for all external communication and PR including international press visits for 12 international hotels. Examples of projects I was in charge of: Launch of new hotel design, launch of a new gourmet restaurant (Alberto K at the Royal), 40th anniversary celebration of the Royal Hotel including an Arne Jacobsen exhibition and an anniversary event and other events related to different sponsorships. I was offered a new position in a regional marketing department where I was responsible for marketing, PR activities and events for 10 international hotels. In this position I established a central PR function from scratch. To try out my sales skills, I accepted this new role as part of the sales force where I was responsible for a portfolio of corporate clients and their hotel agreements. In addition, I was a project manager in charge of developing and implementing a new CRM system, including training and user support for my colleagues in the sales force. My first job after finishing my studies was this newly created position in the Commercial department of Denmark's biggest hotel, which was back then called Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel, where I also was a management trainee during my studies. In this role I acted a administrative back-up for the sales force and coordinated all sales and marketing activities locally at the hotel.
