      Revival supports Vegetarianism and has under its trademark “Veg for Life” symbol. This can be seen from the food served at Revival Indian Thali, which is, vegetarian cuisine, from across the length and breadth of India.As a food service operator we understand our responsibility and we make sure that the diners should have not only enough food, but also the right kind of food containing the correct amounts of the various nutrients necessary for good health .To accomplish this, the Revival Indian Thali menus are carefully and skilfully planned to produce the right combinations of food in dishes that will appeal to the diners, fit the food cost budget and no menu is executed without prior approval from a qualified and authorised Nutrition guide.With growing concern about the proliferation of diabetes, obesity and cholesterol related diseases more and more diners are becoming averse to consuming carbohydrates, especially refined sugars. Keeping this in mind Revival Indian Thali has developed and offers diners dessert alternatives wherein, the sugar is replaced with Sucralose or which is naturally sweet without added refined sugar, such as fresh fruit.       Started in the year 1984 at Baroda, the journey continued with another in Bombay by 1987. The only thali brand that had been able to scale up, with an expansion mode form two to sixty five outlets. With a staff strength of 4300. Exited and monetized the brand in 2011.

      In 1995, entered the outsourced F&B service business by taking over the complete catering of Garware Club House at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. All F&B areas in the club were revamped and upgraded from a “canteen culture” to a modernistic restaurant. Cuisine was expanded to now include vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian, Chinese and South Indian including Chaats, Tandoori, fast food snacks and breakfast items. Pioneered restaurant style food-festivals (viz. Rajasthani food festivals, etc.) within the club. Also professionalized the F&B set-up by incorporating modernistic training systems for club’s F&B staff. Held this F&B contract till 2003-04. Show less

      In 1997, Barot’s formed a company Ishwar Bhuvan Hotels and floated a public issue towards setting up a 3 star hotel in Baroda . Barot’s deployed these funds in setting up Revival Hotel at Baroda, a 52 room 3 star modern business hotel. After Barot’s acquisition, this hotel has several ‘firsts’ to its credit and was the runner up in the prestigious “Environment Champion of the Year” award in 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 across all 1 and 3 star hotels in India.o This property was sold to a Gujarat hotelier in 2006.       In 1999, Started the Stir Academy of Bartending at Revival, Mumbai in partnership of Mrs. Shatbhi Basu, a renowned celebrity in the Indian F&B industry. First of its kind, Stir teaches students the finer details of Flair Bartending with audio-visual and computer aids. Students are not only bar personnel but also amateurs and career appreciation enthusiasts. Stir alumni are today present in some of the most elite restaurants, clubs and hotels, not only of Mumbai but all over the globe.o In 2003 due to growing popularity and consequent shortage of space at Revival, Mrs. Basu shifted to her own larger premises with withdrawing from the partnership.
