Scope of the project was migration and thoroughly testing of business objects-Universes, Reports and Informatica ETL jobs for 15+ data marts and 2 TB of data.My responsibilities are understand IT landscapes, ETL batch processes, Reporting of GE Supply and document all processes and interdependencies, Prepare architecture diagrams, migration plans and test plans, thoroughly test all ETL Jobs and BOBJ reports prior to the migration and post migration, coordinate with all other sources systems/teams during migration, document all statistics like load timings and reports run times, Modify 100+ shell scripts with new IP addresses and credentials, make necessary code changes in ETL jobs and BOBJ reports, Run the parallel environments for 3 weeks, daily detailed status reports to onsite team and customer, support the applications for 3 months after the go-live.Successfully migrated all BI applications to Gexpro data center from GE Supply without any impact to business and zero post go live issues Show less

  Objective of this project was BO4.0 and BODS 4.0 applications setup, developing new data marts for SAP 6.0 and Oracle apps 9i ERP systems, developing executive dashboards and Webi reports and publishing to mobile devices.
