  From March to September 2015 I worked as an intern for the Finnish Athletics Federation in Helsinki, as leader of the project “Helsinki City Marathon goes to Russia” and operated a promotional trip to the Moscow Marathon expo 17.-20.09.2015. The position allowed me to gain invaluable experience in a number of areas. I was responsible for conducting market research concerning the Russian running scene, contacting the Moscow organization and organizing the logistics of the trip. Furthermore, I was in charge of sourcing and preparing all the necessary printed material, translating HCM flyers and other promotional material into Russian. Finally, I was responsible for actively promoting the Helsinki City Marathon at the expo, meeting and networking with key-players, travel agents, runners and discussing issues regarding future collaboration between HCM and Russian event organizers.
