  • Project Manager contracted to Fujitsu to provide project management services to Heathrow Airport IT Department. Representing HAL IT Centre of Excellence to deliver structured cabling infrastructure and network connectivity projects across the HAL campus. o Reporting to the Programme Director and Programme Manager for the management of various projects. The multiple projects range from small projects circa £50K to major projects with a total value of approximately £10 million. o Current projects being worked on are  Completion of a nine month, £750K fibre optic and voice cable migration to divert critical network connectivity for NATS, AGL and Airport Fire Main onto new cabling infrastructure.  Completion of an 18 month, £1.2 million design phase for the new IT systems required for the Cargo Tunnel Refurbishment. The project scope is to provide structured cabling and network connectivity to all Tunnel Control Systems and to also provide a new Radio & Cellular system within the Cargo Tunnel. The deployment of the IT systems, which is scheduled for approx. 3-4 years and approx. cost of £9 million is scheduled to commence from late 2018.o The project management role encompasses the following activities Manage stakeholder communications, project plans, schedule and financial reporting to Heathrow and Fujitsu; Maintain all project documentation required through the project lifecycle from scope development, design, implementation and handover; Co-ordination of Operational and Design resources and responsible for managing multiple service providers  Responsible for risk management for the duration of the project and communicating with all relevant Stakeholders; Responsible for all Change Management required on each project and communicating with all relevant Stakeholders to ensure all changes are fully signed off and to provide little or no impact to project timescales; Show less
