  In my role as an IT Specialist at RCMRD, I had a diverse set of responsibilities that revolved around maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and supporting its workforce. My primary duties included:Server Room Maintenance: I was responsible for the upkeep of the server room, ensuring that servers, networking equipment, and related infrastructure were operating smoothly. I applied software patches and updates to both desktop computers and servers, ensuring that systems remained protected from vulnerabilities and ran the latest features.Computer Repairs: I was responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware issues on computers and peripherals. This included fixing or replacing faulty components to minimize downtime and maintain a productive work environment.Website Maintenance: Managing and maintaining the organization's website was another crucial aspect of my role.   As a Climate Change Education Specialist at People's Planet Society, a youth-led NGO based in Kenya, I have dedicated two years to advancing climate education and awareness. My primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive curricula for our education training programs in high schools.
