  I worked in the Internal/External Reporting & Consolidations group. I currently prepare the statements of cash flow for all eight of Duke Energy's SEC registrants. I have worked to remove non-value added work to the current process, and I am on a team through our Lighthouse initiative to streamline the process through automation and data analytics. I have presented on the statement of cash flow in a CPE training session in front of a group of CPA's and finance professionals. I have created memos around new accounting standards that affect the statement of cash flows. I currently lead pre-close and close meetings for the Finance department. I represent the SEC, Accounting Research, and Consolidation groups as Lighthouse Promoter, where I help share new functionality throughout those groups. I also represent all of Corporate Accounting as a Lighthouse Liaison, where we look to determine efficiencies through various tasks throughout the Controllers' Department. Show less
