  As a "Product and Operations Manager” I’m responsible for development and maintenance of a web-service with over 1 million visits per day. This includes design of new features, prioritisation in terms of business value and the clarification of requirements. To do so I work closely with several teams using methods of Agile and Lean Management. Furthermore I try to measure, monitor and redefine our key metrics to enable concepts of self-organised work. This helps us to improve steadily while keeping motivation high. Show less I ensure that our organisation and process enables to do efficient planning and development of web applications. In a complex environment like the IT-industry the best way to do so is servant leadership and a high degree of self-organization, which is the basis of my work. By using techniques of “Agile Project-Management" I take care that we stay flexible on requests and react swiftly on unexpected changes. Moreover we adapt our own process constantly to improve our performance steadily. To avoid unnecessary work and stay both efficient and effective I use principles of “Lean Development”.
