  Part-time role undertaken during my University study. During my time at Morrisons I managed to develop my customer service skills thoroughly and now feel confident in any situation in the workplace. It also improved my social skills as, through working in an environment where there are many staff there is a requirement to interact with many people to get a given job completed, both quickly and efficiently. Whilst at Morrisons I also achieved the NVQ level 2 in retailing - which has provided me with an apprenticeship in retailing. A further skill I have acquired through working at a big company like Morrisons is an improvement in my time management skills due to the requirement to efficient time keeping in a strict work environment. One final asset I have from my time at Morrisons is ability to multi-task as, through my three years of employment I have worked on various departments doing whatever job I was required to do, to the best of my ability.   On November 1st 2017, I was promoted to the position of Assistant Factory Manager at Proteus Switchgear. My main focus going forward is to assist in the development of our two brand names, Proteus Switchgear and M2 Electrical, both in product development and marketing. I have a direct involvement with our sales force to attempt to drive further sale, as well as holding an important position overseeing all of the buying for the business. During my time with Proteus, I have obtained additional training including First Aid qualifications, Manual Handling Trainer certification and an advanced City & Guilds qualification in Management and Team Leadership. In recent months, I have actively attempted to boost our business profile via Social Media & I'm actively involved in Social Media strategy for the business going forward. Show less For over twenty-five years, Proteus Switchgear has been at the forefront of British manufacturing - specialising in the production of industrial and domestic switchgear with full circuit protection, working proficiently to supply a full and varied product range.My role with the company began in 2012, undergoing the Management Trainee scheme alongside my peers, learning all aspects of business by working alongside colleagues in each department of the business. In 2014, I was promoted into the role of Commercial Manager - undertaking work with the Design and Marketing Department, sales calls and order entry as well as direct quotations alongside our Production Department to provide the client with the best fit solution. The key aspect of my role is to oversee the work of the Dispatch Department and also the Sales Office, ensuring staff are motivated and tasked correctly. From enquiry to delivery, I like to be fully involved with the orders that pass through our factory base in Redditch, Worcestershire. Furthermore, I control the company's social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) in the hope of accessing new customers for the business. Show less
