  I headed up the Western Cape Mobile Division of Sybase, which focussed on mobilising information to the front lines of our customers' businesses. As regional Practice Manager I was responsible for ensuring that the division reached annual targets. This involved working closely with the sales organisation selling mobile solutions to customers directly and via partners. I was predominantly involved in managing and conducting a pre-sales function providing the level of business acumen and technical depth to establish my team as trusted advisors to our clients.   At SAP UK I worked closely with customers assisting them to realise the value, benefits and process around 'mobilising' field based processes utilising the SAP mobile solution set. I witnessed on a daily basis how helping clients to empower their field workers with real-time information changed the story of their business, moving them from barely satisfying customers by reacting to issues, to delighting customers by being proactive! At SAP South Africa, my role was very similar to SAP UK however being based in Cape Town I was focussed on the key and enterprise accounts space for the coastal region of South Africa, East Africa, Angola and Mozambique. Same job, better view :-)

  I have two key areas of focus in my role, first, I manage a team of incredibly talented Solutions Consultants focussed on delivering value to our clients, second I consult with clients helping them adopt groundbreaking solutions that transform the way that they do business. In this role I consulted on a daily basis with so many wonderful clients, across the full spectrum of the Bullhorn client base from small startups to large blue chip corporates. In all of these engagements the focus was bringing about transformation via incredible technology.
