  I headed User Experience at Myntra.com - India's largest fashion and lifestyle e-commerce company - balancing short-term tactical design interventions with long-term strategic design initiatives. I also built and mentored Myntra's UX team, and uninhibitedly indulged my obsessive pixel disorder.I was Myntra's very first UX designer. I eventually recruited a small but supremely talented team of designers whom I mentored and managed.Before building the UX team at Myntra, I was the sole gatekeeper of its UI, and the designer behind its major transformation in 2012. The new UI established Myntra as a user-friendly fashion-forward online retailer, and resulted in improved customer engagement and conversion, as well as acquisition and retention. Ever since, Myntra's UI has earned accolades from customers and critics on various fora.I was also responsible for the design of:- Myntra Style Studio : a first-of-its-kind virtual trial room that enables customers to mix and match apparel and accessories to create, purchase and share their own 'looks'.- Mobile Myntra : a responsive mobile website offering an app-like experience on touch-enabled smartphones and tablets that doubled daily revenue from mobile devices for Myntra. I followed a mobile-first design approach, deconstructing key e-commerce task flows like navigational drill-down, search, filtering / sorting, and order placement / checkout to design them afresh for a mobile context.- Myntra iPad App : with a focus on customer engagement, the iPad app offers curated fashion content through sweeping horizontal panoramas. Apart from some novel interactions for the key task flows, I defined a modern and minimalistic flat-UI visual language for the app.I joined Myntra as Principal UX Designer in 2011 and was promoted to AVP-UX in 2013.   As one of the senior-most designers at SAP Labs India, I strove to bridge the user experience gap between enterprise solutions and consumer products through design thinking and customer co-innovation. I focused on E-Commerce, Big Data, and the Internet of Things.Specifically:- Conceptualized a next-generation marketplace for the SAP HANA product/services ecosystem- Designed an analytical application that leverages the capabilities of SAP HANA to empower Marketing Analysts with omni-channel Big Data visualization and insights for improved customer engagement- Designed an immersive Smart Vending Machine experience that builds on the Internet of Things premise to enable connected retail.
