  Vendor Capacity OptimizationTo minimize the gap between the production capacity and manufacturing demand for Fabindia’s Apparel Category (Delhi) for the July-August (JA) ’21 season.• I monitored and mapped multiple vendor capacities and future vendor booking tolerance status.• I optimally planned and executed the sourcing of JA’21 (apparel) merchandise based on vendor capacities and availability.• I enhanced the resource utilization of the vendors through Capacity Grading by categorizing vendors based on their garment production capacities, skilled labor, machinery, and timeliness.• Result: - Increased the Capacity Utilization (CU) of one of the major vendors by 51.44 % and the maximum CU achieved was 74.60%- Monthly and season-wise increase in CU from the previous season April-May-June '21 resulted in enhanced performance leading to lower per-unit production costs and profits.
