As assistant to the director/screenwriter my job responsibilities changed throughout production on a day to day basis however it mostly including drafting letters, making phone calls, and writing coverage on scripts. Since my skills are based on my writing experience I focused more on editing the screenplay, however my time management skills allowed me to help with keeping the production on schedule throughout the day and communicating with the rest of the crew.
