The tool will tell the area leads which trucks to unload first based on earliest package delivery dates, where to unload them based on closest empty staging lanes and will refresh automatically to retrieve the latest data. The tool will increase productivity by 30%.- Designed and implemented an automated scalable buffer calculation tool. The tool will take as input the shift, the headcount, the expected throughput and will calculate the packages to be treated available in the pipeline, the packages to be received during the shift, the total processing capacity and the expected number of packages that won’t be treated due to lack of capacity. The tool will allow area managers to free 10% of their time and to better prioritize resources.- Implemented a package volume forecast audit tool to have a better accuracy of daily volume forecasts, increasing the operation managers’ visibility and the staffing accuracy.
