    • Henkel

      Apr 2004 - Nov 2005
Sales and Operations Planner for Mexico and Central America

      - Production planning of liquid products and promotions, starting with 500 tons per month and reaching 4.500 tons in two years. 40% of sales volume was concentrated on the last three days of the month and, therefore, sales forecasting accuracy was key to manage production requirements to factories all over the month and to control stocks efficiently.- Leadership in production reassignment within Henkel’s factories in Mexico, which led to a 15% cost saving for the company. I managed to combine the reduction of volume allocation in some factories and the investments and ramp-ups in others at the same time, achieving a smooth transition without impact on customer service and on-time delivery. - Development of a cross-functional project with sales department, factories and logistics that led to both increase customer service reliability and reduce 10% the finished goods’ inventory. I learnt that successful supply chains are all about committed people working together in coordination. Show less
